Airshows

The thirteen days on the air show circuit in a seventy-six-year-old aircraft were at times challenging and at other times exhilarating. The Kate performed flawlessly. Jewell was adaptable, resourceful, and a wonderful companion on the trip.

As remarkable as Randy’s performances are in the MiG-17F, the aircraft has many things to teach us about the brilliance and talent possessed by Russian engineers and technicians. A careful examination of the MiG-17F reveals the capabilities of our adversaries.

I cannot say enough kind words about David Cate and his staff.  The were courteous and profesional and treated Katie with kid gloves.  To hangar Katie for nine days without compensation was extremely generous.

The Mid-Atlantic Air Museum in Reading, Pennsylvania is an aviation treasure. It houses a remarkable collection of World War II aircraft, many of which are in flying condition, along with a vast collection of World War II artifacts and a machine shop capable of producing many of the parts to restore Second World War aircraft to flying status.

The Dixie Wing of the Commemorative Air Force (CAF) puts on a great show in April of every year paying tribute to the men and women who served in the armed forces and in the arsenal of democracy during the Second World War

The DeKalb Peachtree Airport Airshow known as PDK Neighbor Day was very well st ructured. ATC did a good job handling all of the transient aircraft. A lot of very interesting aircraft were on display.
