Interview on CNN about Southwest Flight 1380

Alan Armstrong, aviation attorney and pilot is interviewed by Brooke Baldwin of CNN about Southwest Flight 1380 where jet engine compressor blade penetrated the cabin window resulting in the death of a passenger.

Armstrong describes a jet engine as a “Cylinder of Spinning Sabers” and shows the location of the containment belt designed to prevent parts of the engine penetrating the aircraft fuselage and pressure vessel in the event of an engine failure or explosion.
